Continuing Education Information
Category 1 Continuing Medical Education (CME)
This is an activity offered by UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute, a CMA-accredited provider. Physicians and Psychologists attending the entire course (lectures and live question and answer sessions) may report 8 hours of Category 1 credit toward the California Medical Association's Certificate in Continuing Medical Education and the American Medical Association's Physician's Recognition Award.
Mandatory Continuing Education for Psychologists (MCEP) Due to regulatory changes by MCEP, psychologists may now receive CME credit.
Board of Registered Nursing Contact Hours UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute is an accredited provider of continuing education credits for nurses (Provider number CEP 381). This course (lectures and live question and answer sessions) meets the qualifications for 8 hours of credit as required by the Board of Registered Nursing.
Social Workers and MFCCs Credit UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute is an accredited provider of continuing education credits for LCSWs and MFCCs (provider number PCE 378). This course (lectures and live question and answer sessions) meets the qualifications for 8 hours of continuing education credit as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Pharmacy Credit The UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute is approved by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education as a provider of continuing pharmaceutical education. Universal Program Numbers 291-000-03-009-L01, 291-000-03- 010-L01, 291-000-03-011-L01, and 291-000-03-012-L01 for 4.0 contact hours, 4.0 CEU's. (Lectures only; no credit for live question and answer sessions.)
This CE activity was planned and produced in accordance with the Criterion and Standards of ACPE. In order to receive credit, participants must attend the entire activity. Certificate of attendance will be mailed within 3-6 weeks.
